Itinerary

Day 1

Begin your journey with a traditional welcome at Safdarjung Railway Station at 4:00 PM. Enjoy garlanding, tikka, and turban ceremonies as you embark on the luxurious Palace on Wheels. After check-in, your personal attendant will escort you to your cabin and provide refreshments. The train departs for Jaipur by 6:30 PM. Dinner is served in the elegant restaurants, “The Maharajah” and “The Maharani.” Overnight stay on the train.

Day 2

The train reaches Jaipur early in the morning. After breakfast at 7:00 AM, embark on a fullday sightseeing tour. Discover iconic attractions like the Amber Fort, City Palace, Jantar Mantar, and Hawa Mahal. Enjoy lunch at the 1135 AD restaurant inside Amber Fort. The day concludes with an evening visit to local markets, where you can shop for Jaipur’s famous jewelry and handicrafts. Return to the train by 7:00 PM. Dinner is served on board as the train departs for Sawai Madhopur at 8:00 PM. Overnight stay on the train.

Day 3

An early start for a thrilling jeep safari at Ranthambore National Park, renowned for its Bengal tigers and diverse wildlife. Return to the train for breakfast and onward journey to Chittorgarh. Lunch will be served onboard. Upon arrival in Chittorgarh at 3:00 PM, explore the majestic Chittorgarh Fort. Enjoy high tea and a sound-and-light show at the fort before returning to the train by 8:00 PM for dinner. Overnight stay at Chittorgarh Railway Station.

Day 4

Arrive in Udaipur by 7:00 AM and enjoy breakfast before beginning your sightseeing tour at 9:00 AM. Explore the beautiful Saheliyon ki Bari, City Palace, and Crystal Gallery. After lunch at Fateh Prakash Hotel, take a boat ride on the serene Lake Pichola to visit Jag Mandir Palace. Return to the train by 3:30 PM for evening tea. The train departs for Jaisalmer at 4:00 PM. Day 5

Arrive in Jaisalmer by 9:00 AM. After breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour covering Gadisar Lake, Jaisalmer Fort, and Patwon ki Haveli. After lunch, experience a camel safari at the famous Sam Sand Dunes followed by tea and a cultural performance at Gorbandh Palace. Return to the train by midnight, which departs for Jodhpur. Day 6

The train reaches Jodhpur by morning. After breakfast, explore the stunning Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada, and Umaid Bhawan Palace. Enjoy lunch at the luxurious Ajit Bhawan Palace. Afterward, you can indulge in shopping at local markets. Return to the train by 4:00 PM. Dinner is served on board as the train departs for Bharatpur. Overnight stay on the train.

Day 7

Arrive in Bharatpur early in the morning and embark on a rickshaw safari at Keoladeo National Park, renowned for its bird species. After breakfast, continue to Agra to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Agra Fort and the world-famous Taj Mahal. Spend the afternoon shopping at Agra’s vibrant local markets before returning to the train. Dinner is served on board as the train heads back to Delhi. Overnight stay on the train.

Day 8

The train reaches Safdarjung Railway Station, Delhi by 2:30 AM. Breakfast will be served at 6:00 AM, and the deboarding process starts at 7:30 AM, concluding your incredible journey aboard the Palace on Wheels.
